The FD7404B and FD7408B Server Console Switch are controllers thatallow one user to access multiple computers. Only one keyboard,monitor, mouse, microphone and speaker is required to control multiplenetwork servers. Switching from one computer to another is as easy aspressing buttons located on the front panel, or by using easy andefficient hot keys. It is extremely simple to use and install. No moresoftware installations, and no incompatibility problems. The hot keyscan be used with every operating platform.

Cascadable - with On Screen Display

The FD7404B and FD7408B provide three convenient methods to accessany PC connected to the system. (1) By using the port selectionswitches located on the FD7404B/FD7408B front panel (2) By entering aHot Key combination from the keyboard or (3) By using the menu drivenOSD (On Screen Display) feature. The FD7404B Unit can control up tofour PCs and the FD7408B up to eight. The FD7404B/ FD7408B can becascaded to an additional 31 units, which means that up to 32FD7404B/FD7108B can manage up to 128/256 PCs - all from a singlekeyboard-monitor-mouse-audio console. A powerful Auto-Scan Mode featureallows you to automatically scan and monitor the activities of alloperating PCs in the installation, one by one.
